Single vineyard GC from the Cramant village (just north of Avize) in the Côte des Blancs. Since the name confused a lot of buyers (Cramant vs Crémant) the name of the cuvee was changed to Levant (meaning East). The vineyard is east-facing and thus gets the first sun rays in the morning. The wine is (therefore) rich and powerfull, but nowhere gets bold. Wow. In your face complexity. Bought at Cave Salvatori in Epernay. Will buy this again for sure!
