The charm of the Cab-franc de Loire in the expression of a cuvée to drink on youth. Variety notes in the spotlight: raspberry, violet, slate. 2020 is concentrated, bearing the stigma of solar vintages with almost liquorice notes. Blindly, it almost feels like you're in the Rhône-Nord (without pepper) Fine and gourmet. Drink refreshed 13/15 degrees.

Notes variétales à l’honneur: framboise, violette, ardoise. 2020 est concentré, portant les stigmates des millésimes solaires avec des notes presque réglisse. A l’aveugle on se croirait presque dans le Rhône-Nord (sans le poivre) Fin et gourmand. À boire rafraîchi 13/15 degrés.

An entry-level cuvée with a certain charm. The varietal notes of cab-franc are respected: raspberry, cherry, strawberry laying, violet notes. Vegetable side also typical of the grape variety. The aging is discreet, the freshness is lively; it is a very nice aperitif wine or for everyday prepas. Very good ratio p/pleasure.

L’élevage est discret, la fraîcheur est vive; c’est un très jolie vin d’apéro ou pour les prépas de tous les jours. Très bon rapport p/plaisir.

Simple, light, but full of charm. Clear purple dress, beautiful shine. Nose typical of the cabernets-francs de Loire. Raspberry, geranium, violet, blackwood, green pepper (but not too much). The mouth is fresh and tense, with a beautiful mineral weft reminiscent of rifle stone, slate or chalk. Served at 15 degrees, it’s a nice treat.

La bouche est fraîche et tendue, avec une belle trame minérale évoquant la pierre à fusil, ardoise ou craie. Servi à 15 degrés c’est une belle gourmandise.

Wow! Cherries and raspberries with an intense floral bouquet, pencil shavings and slight touch of cinnamon on the nose. Sour cherry on the palate, soft tannins yet an elegant and silky texture. For $18(CAD) a steal of a deal. Wines like this are the reason Loire is one of my favourite regions.
