Great side by side with the L&R '97. Significantly more fruit forward with notes of red berries and dried herbs. Soft edges given its youth. Very enjoyable!

A bit high in alcohol for my liking (14.5% alc by vol. ) But after two days expresses bright red juicy fruits. Fresh and lively fraise du bois. A very fine example of Cabernet Franc from Napa Valley.

I love John's wines, and his two-fourteen CF is always a treat!

Redcherry, ripe raspberry and saline. M- acid, body and tannin. Perfect wine to pair with pizza!

4. Blackberry and chocolate. Blueberry cobbler on the nose. The finish is good Indian spice and earth. Not as long as one would hope but I like this.

Fantastic cab franc from SE elevations at Sugarloaf Mtn in Napa. The clone tries to restrain the fruit but California dun and soil win the day!

Slam dunk. 100% CF from Sugarloaf Mountain. Black fruit, nice funk on the nose, tart tannic finish with plenty of black dirt. $26. No duh!
