Given the age, this was a lovely bottle. Light on the fruit and big on the decayed earthiness for this 20 yr old beauty!

Mar 7th, 2017An inside job - holding well for what started as a hard, kind of unfriendly vintage - aromatics are mature - not the other Cabernets kind of cigar box but more decayed perfume - ethereal - more pinot like but not the straw aged character. Nice smooth - tasty finish.
