Stacia greatly enjoyed this bottle as part of her birthday celebration. So far a “favorite franc”, with surprising complexity, structure, and length and evolving bright to dark fruit flavors and just a touch of pepper and a slight velvet finish. Tremendous value, though not the cheapest franc (that’s be the 94-pt digurretti) we’ve tried in this little venture.

A good dry, light red. Substitute for a Pinot noir if fruit forward isn’t what you’re interested in.

Loved it. It is hard to find a decent CF at a reasonable price, and this one was very tasty, like a ripe Merlot but with the signature violet aromas
