Rosh Abruzzo Montepulciano Trebbiano

love this. abruzzese version of lambrusco

May or may not be my favorite red RN. Hello sulphur/fresh bandaid/rubber on the nose, tart and acidic on the palate. Overripe strawberries, alcohol-soaked cherries. 11.5 ABV although tastes a bit stronger once it gets more oxidized. The hubs says it tastes like raspberries. (Thank you Danielle from Rebel Rebel for the rec!!)

First bottle was a mouse bomb. Second was nice - lots of red fruit and cola vibes

Citrown! 🍋. Næsten ødelæggende høj syre. Svær at synke. Måske også lidt sure kirsebær. Og sur colavingummi. Minder lidt om de dårlige minder fra Barbe Rouge. Øv.

Interesting grape combo. Tannic perhaps because so young. Focused and less fruity than other montepulcianos. I like it! Barnyard on the nose that dissipates.

Wowweee wowww this is perfectly funky! Muy juicy and a smidge effervescent. Nice and dry finish

Dansar runt i gommen på 10,5%. Frisk syra, körsbär, slankt och lätt. Bättre på egen hand än till mat.
