Another winner from this under the radar Chablis source. Very pale gold, with a nose exuding Chablis character: wet limestone, brothiness, crisp green apple. Nice acids and crispness, a mouthwatering quality, leading me to wonder how the vines pulled this off in such a hot year. Yay nature! Loads of flavor but lovely liveliness.

Sep 13th, 2025Love the glints of green in the light gold color. Very old-timey! Bright nose has that wet seashell/limestone funk, crisp apple, with a squeeze of earthy lemon peel. Intensely minerally in the mouth. Texture is soft and rounded, and it’s pretty full-bodied. Pretty good acidity. Ultimately the nose seems of a lighter wine than the palate. But I like them just fine together!
