Laird Family Estate
Flat Rock Ranch Malbec
With 9yrs age it doesn’t seem like any tannins have dropped. Extremely dense. Tannins are well integrated. Smooth and huge. Dark fruit. Chocolate.

Aug 14th, 2021Not typically a fan of Malbec, but this one is delicious. Vanilla notes, suggest American Oak. Very approachable and food friendly.

Nov 28th, 2019Not generally a big fan of Malbec, but this one is a keeper. Laird does a nice job delivering on vanilla infused black cherry, fig and dark chocolate. Nicely paired with pulled pork.

Sep 12th, 2024Elegant aromas of violet and blueberry emerge from the inky dark liquid in the glass. Great tastes of boysenberries, plums and blackberries with a little bit of earthiness on the palate. A long lingering dark fruit finish with nicely integrated tannins. A very nice wine to start the evening with!
