Blend of 83% Cab Sauv, 11% Merlot, and 6% Petit Verdot made by Philippe Melka. Deep Ruby with purple hues, aromas of black and blue fruits with herb spice and earthy notes. On the palate blueberry, blackberry and plum flavors with cacao, leather and tobacco. Firm tight grippy tannins, well balanced integrated nicely with smoky oak, long finish ending with fruit, spice and earthy character. Tried twice, still too young, keep corked for a few years.

Enjoying this at Capital for it’s depth and grainy tannins. Coffee notes everywhere, with prominent oak treatment. Very well put together, just needs cellaring, but I love this presentation as-is.

A beautiful Napa Cabernet. This 7 year old is delicious now. Showing baked black fruits with chocolates, notes and cedar, vanilla, coffee, earth, cola and peppercorn.
Full bodied and bold with medium acidity and long legs.
Dry and extremely fruity on the palate with great complexity and mouthfeel.
Long finish with fine tannins.
Good right out of the bottle and better as it opens up (3 hours).

2016 was a great vintage for Napa and this whine shows it-
wonderfully deep ruby and very fruit forward - lots of black cherry and clafoutis flavors, Medium+ tannin, very ripe. Cassis, vanilla, plum and violet on the palate and very long finish. This is a joy to drink already and will only get better over the next 6-10 years.
2016 was a great vintage for Napa and this whine shows it-
