A very good second wine, in a lighter style,but try to type for the appellation, and a great introduction to the grand vin. A skilful, harmonious blend with admirable purity and a soft mouthfeel. Good spicy length. Nice value. Abv. 13,5%.

Vintage 2012 - drinks well now, in the smell some spicyness and hints of a stable, good balance. Good performance in this year, gives joy.

Deep purple core out to a pink to brick rim showing some age.. Nose is savory with notes of violets, leather cured meats and black cherries.. Hints of green on the palate tan is are soft and silky.. I am sure if I would decant this it would reveal more.. Just used my corivin..
