La Vieille Ferme Blanc Bourboulenc Blend

Got this for cooking, and it’s pretty drinkable. Fragrant, floral, meadowy nose has some nice orchard fruit. Straightforward and fruity and fresh. Short, clean finish with a little minerality.

This wine has a light golden tint in the glass. Its complex nose smells of apples, pears, ripe nectarines, and Meyer lemon. The palate shows off that fruit admirably. The citrus minerality comes through like gangbusters and the acidity is as fresh as it gets. Despite the tingly acid, the mouthfeel is full and rich. It’s the best of two different worlds. For $7, it’s amazing that I ever buy anything else.

A very inexpensive bottle mentioned in travel and leisure… citrus with a little minerality. A. good value, not bad for light sips on a Saturday afternoon

This is our weekly go-to wine. It’s cheap and lovely to drink.
