Basil, bay leaf, black licorice, stewed raspberry, tree bark, body is holding up just fine. Great meat packed with tannin, acid, dried herbs. I'll try another bottle in a year or so.

Always a good everyday'er. The '06 is hard to beat, but the '07 was very good. Served with a meaty, herbal, red sauce.

Surprisingly fabulous! Very dark crimson red with medium to solid density and slight brickish rim. Bountiful nose with gorgeous harmony of aromas of bouquet of flowers, rose petal, and delicious cherries. Second tear bell pepper aromas. Very faint tobacco aromas too. Medium body wine with great expression and character. Mouth watering sour cherry acidity, very diatinguished. Great performance. Palatable and very pleasant finish. 89 pts.
