Goodness I love LRA wines. The nose on these are intoxicating. American oak has calmed down but still full of coconut and dill. Could smell it all day. Incredibly pure on the palate. Blackberries, Mexican vanilla, green pepper. No tannic bite.

90%temp 10%graciano with 4 yrs in American oak. Massively elegant yet broody and intense, smokey red fruit with notes of truffle, caramel, toffee apple covered in balsamic vinegar with a touch of hazelnut (very light). In the mouth this is a gem, a great acidic lift of umami instilled red berry fruit that is still unctuous, mouth watering and infinitely food friendly with a savoury, long finish. Outstanding.

A phenomenal wine that really rewards a minimum of 2, but ideally 3 hours of breathing time. The nose is simply intoxicating and the acidity and red fruits are so finely balanced that it just melts in your mouth. What a treat!
