Bright pale lemon yellow with nuance of straw yellow.
Scent: lemon, lemongrass, grapefruits, limestone, minerals, salty, apple mint, start fruit, with hint of pineapple, Muscat and white chocolate.
Fruity vivid acid, light sweetness with good salty minerals.

Lovely wine as an aperitif and accompaniment to roasted chicken with leeks and fennel. Lovely nose, sparkling minerality, fruit and a clean finish. Great recommendation from Kevin ($19).

La Raia Gavi DOCG 2019: Light-bodied. Bright acidity. Clean soft fruit flavors of green apple, lemon & lime. Nice minerality with a crisp & dry finish. All in all, a satisfying & refreshing biodynamic Gavi wine (Cortese grape) at a very reasonable price point. Cheers🍷

Never had it before, will look for it again. Nice minerality and fruit, would pair well with a hearty seafood stew or just enjoy it in the back yard on a sunny day.

It’s been a long time since I’ve had a Gavi and honestly forgot how much I’m taken by them! Nose is a little floral but somewhat closed, palate is mineral galore with prominent green apple overtones, lemon, with a tiny hint of maybe pineapple? Perfect with spicy prawns and sautéed whole trout. Delicious!
