Tasted over two days, first day prominent burnt rubber reduction, but a focused and dense palette. Long tannins and velvety fruit tighter and lean. On day two: full mouth covering black cherry, vibrant red fruit, with a finish of dried herb. Tannins more pronounced but fine grain.

Can’t just drink Champagne on these hot summer days, well, no, I actually can :). However, I felt like a Burgundy last night and this one continues to deliver. Still a few years till it will reach its best, but lovely to drink right now. Quite expressive with dark berries and earthy notes. Just what I needed on this Friday night.
