Brunello di Montalcino Sangiovese

Heavy V.A. and Tuscan dusty funk on the nose. Gives way to black cherry, green herbs and oak. Liked it way more upon release 5 years ago. Maybe a dumb faze? Still has great backbone and tannin

Beautiful dark ruby color, vanilla, toast, cherry, cranberry, soft leather.

2010 vintage. Modern style. Sweet spice, velvet, red cherry, generous, soft and round.

Drinking great and had decanted it about 4 hours before we drank it.

Slightly sweet fruit cut against some nice soft tanins.

Needs an hour or two preferably in a decanter to open up, but well worth the wait when it does. Cherry and red fruit nose infused with sweet vanilla scent from oak aging. Well balanced body and acidity, tannins smooth over time esp when paired with red meat dishes. Nice long finish with a slight lingering sweetness that draws you back for more.

Floral aroma then early flavors of cherries and plums but after it opens then deeper flavors emerge along with an undercurrent of leather with a brisk finish
