2016 drinking in Venice in 2022. A bit early but we let this sit...and wow, it will open up a new world of cherry fruit happiness. Oak silky leather with a touch of earthy smoke. If enjoyed too soon it will come off a bit thin, so wait.

This has evolved nicely into an elegant, earthy, dried floral / red fruit, supple wine. Best to consume in the next couple of years.

Heavy V.A. and Tuscan dusty funk on the nose. Gives way to black cherry, green herbs and oak. Liked it way more upon release 5 years ago. Maybe a dumb faze? Still has great backbone and tannin

Off the La Balena wine list in Carmel. Nice bright reddish purple color. Translucent. Fruit forward nose. Notes of cherries, spice, some tree bark. Sweet and floral. Was ok with a pop and pour, but with more age and air I’m sure this would be even better.

Very good Brunello. Showing signs of maturity and drinking nicely now.
