Heavy V.A. and Tuscan dusty funk on the nose. Gives way to black cherry, green herbs and oak. Liked it way more upon release 5 years ago. Maybe a dumb faze? Still has great backbone and tannin

Off the La Balena wine list in Carmel. Nice bright reddish purple color. Translucent. Fruit forward nose. Notes of cherries, spice, some tree bark. Sweet and floral. Was ok with a pop and pour, but with more age and air I’m sure this would be even better.
