Riserva Chianti Classico Sangiovese Blend

Ready to go, but not very complex. Slightly drying finish.

Vintage 2008 dried cherries and balanced acids

Tannins high, not in balance.

Translucent ruby. Aromas of forest fruits (raspberry, plum) and a hint of woody spice. Medium bodied with fine grained/mineral inflected tannins. Just the thing to pair with pasta bolognese after a long day entertaining.

2007. Fully mature. Leather, earthy on nose. Fruit leads in the mouth, with gorgeous soft, ripe cherry liqueur flavors, with a nice dark mineral streak in the long finish.

Good Chianti. Had at Mino’s in Glencoe, second bottle. Somewhat spicy.

Very nice Chianti. Light body, pleasant ripe cherry and hint of strawberry flavor. Let it breathe and open to a "2nd day" level, and it's wonderful. Great with salad and pizza...but likely nice with pasta, as well. Really like it.

Eucalyptus and damp earth on the nose. Pleasantly herbal darker berry fruit in a medium bodied crisp style.

Nothing special.

Dried fruits. Leather. Wood. Good little chianti.
