Lovely cherry, cherry flower, subdued, but detailed. Floral and earthy and a very impressive perfume. Palate is ripe and juicy and a bit broad but very pure. Terrific cherry fruit and so energetic. Nice structure as well. Terrific value.

Lovely Rosso. So vibrant and energetic. Very mineral. Very sour cherry and mid to early season cherry and baking spices on the nose. Very aromatic. Good wet earth mineral element as well. Palate has sweet sour cherry fruit, elegant tannin, rustic charm, nice depth and balance and very juicy. Delicious.

Stemmy green notes when entering the decanter, mostly subsided in ~60m.
Nose is a mashup of under-ripe/fresh cherry and dry minerals.
Palate has stoney cherry, crisp red pepper, grippy tannins and granite dust.
Decent wine that should benefit from a few more years of bottle aging. Paired with home-made pizza with my pizza sauce made from our garden tomatoes, yum.

A lighter styled Rosso. It’s got the transparency of a Chianti from one of the outlying DOCs. Fresh cherries and some stony minerality. Nice, fresh accompaniment to weeknight dinners.

Great Montalcino. Fruits and depth are there. A not-quite-brunello that gives you a good idea of what it could become

Great example of a Rosso di Montalcino... great structure and well balanced acidity. Lingering finish and the tannins don't overpower.

Fantastic. A small* Brunello. Soft, cherry, spice... this is delicious and oh so smooth.

Bright red. Need to wait for long. Licorice, should not be just like that. @1200, Boboli, 190705
