Last night. Possibly wine of night though 2013 avignonesi nobile grande annati very close. Much better than the good 2013 fortuna brunello. Cherry tobacco very balanced and delicious.

Wow. Beautiful nose. Red/black fruit burst but not over top. Red fruit>black fruit with interesting pruny almost amarone like characteristic. Long. Love it. 1 more bottle + magnum. Drink over next 3-5..

Good red fruit very smooth. Lots of sediment. Very subtle tannins. Drink over 3-4 years.

My wife and I first tasted La Fortuna on our honeymoon in brunello.. misty colored watered memories of the way we were...tonight pizza and kids crazy but I digress. Think the pros are hard on this wine. Medium bodied and well balanced with red fruit with some mineral and that touch of leather. Fun wine
