La Compagnie Rhodanienne
La Vigne du Roy Côtes du Rhône

Low end Côtes du Rhône from the 2022 Vintage - while Seemingly either whole cluster or maybe partial - strawberry jam, Christmas spice, the mouth is disappointing , however for $5-$6 dollars not a bad wine for the price at least for me hard to miss that it is a CDR - the distributor is Plume Ridge

Light salmon color with fruit and floral aromas. On the palate strawberries and cherries, somewhat overly acidic. The finish is non-eventful with a slight mineral character and a short ending. Pass. Tasting Sample.

Freshie. Color is lighter and thinner than some dense Côtes. Smells like crushed sweeter raspberry compote. Just a hint of wild plants (sage etc). Flavors are decent. Herbal and stem-y stuff meets the fruit nicely. Juicy. Bit simpler and shorter than the best of the Côtes du Rhône. This improved with a bit of aeration. It’s a-ok.
