Limited Notes. Difficult to write when out to dinner at a good restaurant. Need to rely on memory. Dusty red cherries in the aromatics along with loamy notes…freshly tilled soil. Similar notes on the medium bodied palate. At the beginning of a long life into the late 2030s I would expect. Also as expected, a brilliant food wine.

Lovely stuff. Intense dark fruit. Very smooth and focused. Great balance and purity. Some tangy notes and underbrush but really settled, coherent and delicious

Not sure what @Antonio Galloni is talking about in his recent score as this was classic, and deeply so, with wonderfully mature aromatics and palate. He must have had a few bad bottles, I brought this back from Italy a few years ago. Balsamic, more tertiary than primary and more dark red cherry and currant fruits, heady aromatics, lots to like here. Tannin are a little grainy but that's just being a little bit picky.

Buono. Alla cieca però avrei detto chianti (sangiovese in purezza non sembra…)

Wowie. Dark, ripe, dry tannins, deep red fruits and iron. Showing some secondary aromas and flavors (espresso, rusty metal and earth) but tons of fruit to boot. This is in a great place but will keep evolving beautifully for years I suspect

So woodsy sanguine yet smooth on initial taste .... dang... Italian essence with a. Burgundy finish. Great vintage to boot; get in this now !
