Retrained for orange wine. Incredible. Nutty sherry notes. Amazing dried apricot. Great acid. 800 btls produced.

I'm not sure if I blinded this wine in a black glass that I'd know it was a white wine.

Ahh memories of the Per Se days - this was a favorite BTG for quite a while. A great pairing wine - oxidative without being unappealing. Think stone fruits warmed in the sun (lovely, right?) and green almonds.

Collio DOC 2009, bottle tasted in February 2015.
60 days contact with the skins, fermented in oak.
Beautiful golden yellow color, very limpid and bright.
Nose: at first rather alcoholic, then sweet, powdered sugar, soft and buttery, intense, rich, caramel notes.
In the mouth it's rich, potent, rather tannic.
There is a persistent astringency, it needs much refining time.
Not easy to drink on it's own, must be paired carefully.

Super complex. Very floral and fruity aroma, becoming more structured and savoury as it warmed up. Great.
