Aglianico? This was new to me, but a welcome surprise. Lovely nose which gives way to blackberry and cherry fruit. The middle brings a tannin load, with anise and cocoa tones. The surprise is a hint of brown sugar/cotton candy at the end. For $12 this is very good value.

Tart cherry on the nose and a beautiful cherry red color. A little taniccy, but it is young. Full bodied, with leather and an earthiness.

Incredible value for a bright, fresh, steel fermented young Aglianico.

At Bella Monica, fresh, fruity, with lingering aftertaste. Would get again!
