Case in point. Same vintner. Same vintage. Same varietal... Softer all around with licorice notes. Acidity at medium, medium plus tannins but not overwhelming.

Really enjoyed this. I did decant just to get the tannins a little smoother a little quicker. Smooth and balanced, no elbows. Great sipping and food wine. TBL

Color of burgundy, quite clear and nice legs. Nose of beautiful aldehyde, rubber, dried strawberry and ripe berries, spices, leather, and more aldehyde. Nose is ample and attractive. Taste follows the nose with addition of seductive acidity and solid tannins, grapefruit like zest, clean and crisp, ripe grapes slightly sweet and peppery, and tasty indeed. Aftertaste shows some more warmth and some more pepper. Gem.

Nov 4th, 2021Color of burgundy with a slight purple hue. Quite clear. Nose of nice dried strawberry, beautiful aldehyde, nice savory herb, oily paint, and strength of alcohol. Nose is beautiful and well refined. Taste follows the nose with addition of zest, slight sweetness, warmth of alcohol, and mellow tannins. Well balanced and tasty. Aftertaste is long and savory. Beautiful.

Tres fermé au nez, en bouche c’est un peu plus expressif, cerises acidulées, épices principalement la cannelle, amertume en fin de bouche, c’est tres bien fait, un beau futur devant lui mais comme l’à mentionné @Mario Vaillancourt c’est tres jeune

Dark and even blue fruits, some meaty and balsamic tones, a very expressive nose that I liked a lot. The palate is different, fruity also, a touch of medicinal notes or « funky natural wine » a little but , dry Nebbiolo tannins mixed with that fruit, just a little young and seems not quite set yet. 87-88
Un beau nez super explosif de fruits noirs, bleuets et mures aussi, un peu viandeux aussi et une touche balsamique. J’aime moins la bouche, fait un peu trop nature on dirait, pas mal de fruit aussi, des tannins un peu asséchants en finale. Pas tout à fait en place encore et jeune. 87-88
