This is a nice red blend from Napa. Showing black fruits with wood, earth, light vegetables, tobacco, chocolates, coffee and peppercorn.

Dry on the palate with medium acidity.

Nice finish with round tannins and tangy cherries.

My last one from this vintage. This was worth keeping for a few years.

I paired it with lamb chops.

14.5% alcohol by volume.

Time for some #Merlot on this #MerlotThursday.

Dark ruby in color with a short reddish rim.

Light nose of blueberries, plums, wood, licorice, black currants, herbs, coffee, spices and black pepper.

Medium plus in body with medium plus acidity and long legs.

Dry and fruity on the palate with plums, cherries, cooked strawberries, currants, vanilla, licorice, spices, green vegetables, herbs, wood, coffee, earth, toast, tobacco leaf and peppercorn.

Tangy finish with nice length and fine grained tannins.

This is a tasty Merlot based blend from Napa. Well balanced, tangy, smooth and spicy. Shows nice balance with a soft mouthfeel.

I've had this vintage a few times before, and it is drinking much nicer now. I've been checking it, once or twice a year, to see how it evolves. It is worth keeping for a while longer. Will be better in the next two years.

Good right out of the bottle and a good everyday wine. After an hour of airtime, tannins come out to play, with nice structure. This 5 year old is drinking very nicely now.

A blend of 56% Merlot, 18% Malbec, 14% Petit Verdot and 12% Cabernet Sauvignon.

14.5% alcohol by volume.

Delicious blend. A little tannic but nice tastes of plum and licorice. Went well with eggplant lasagna.

More earth than fruit on the nose but not totally barnyard. Chewy Tannins with some grip. Graphite, tart plums skins in need of some fatty foods. Great wine that over delivers for the price point their advertised at.

Fruity on the nose with blackberries, currants, plums, blueberries, cherries, licorice, vanilla, cedar, leather, chocolates, cinnamon, tobacco and black pepper.

Medium plus in body with medium plus acidity and long legs.

Dry on the palate with blackberries, black currants, plums, vanilla, oak, licorice, spices, earth, leather, coffee tobacco, chocolates and peppercorn.

Long finish with firm tannins and black pepper.

A very nice Red Blend from Napa Valley. Well-balanced and drinking nicely now. Will be good in the next few years, too.

Complex, interesting and enjoyable by itself or with a big piece of steak.

Bought this one primarily because of the label and description on the back. Turned out we really like this one. Bright berry/cherry flavors. Lightly tannic with a hint of sweetness. Medium body. Just a great sipping wine-with or without food. Plan to buy again.
