Aug 16th, 2022Gorgeous nose. So refined and elegant. Sea breeze, salt, gingerbread, honey, honeycomb, nougat, minerals and spice. Even some herbals. Juicy and clear with lovely finesse and elegance. A wine of finesse and elegance. A classic expression. Doesn’t quite have the energy and “extra” of 2019 but all in all a gorgeous and classic wine.

Sep 19th, 2021What a great wine. KG killed 19. Tangerine, sweet citrus, herbs, florals. Palate is juicy and dense with awesome mineral force and deep but playful citrus fruit. Long finish. Very good structure. Terrific hint of vanilla extract. Very very fresh and pure. Long, vibrant but also textured finish with a hint of creaminess. Delicious.

I'll let you know the wine notes when I open my next bottle. This was so deliciously balanced and plush I actually chugged it. Shame on me. 2010 vintage.

May 10th, 2015I was left hoping for a bit more acidity. Nevertheless it complimented oven-baked whitefish and risotto very well.

Love KG! Lovely aromatic nose, pineapple and quince. Precise and clean on the palate. Mineral and unripe/tart pineapple. Mouthwatering and delicious.

Very precise and elegant Riesling. Dry. Mineral on the nose. Citrus and more mineral on the palate. Tastes like a Riesling if it had been made by a Burgundian winemaker. After the KG Chardonnay, another great discovery from @Lyle Fass
