Feb 8th, 2020First off. This is a damned heavy bottle. Creamy pear on the nose, but closed. Charred oak on the palate. Light acidity but young. Mild citrus. There's more here, but it's just not ready.

On the palate apple, melon and some peach flavors and hints of lemon citrus, delicate, complex and well balanced. Lingering finish, savory, ending with mineral tones and nutty vanilla oak. Nice! 1 person found it helpfulDec 8th, 2017Big Napa chard. Not a bomb though. Creamy texture. Lightly buttered popcorn, vanilla, lemon peel, yellow peach, ripe yellow apple, overripe pineapple, new oak spice, cinnamon, 5-spice, touch of clove. Needs time to integrate it all with 14.5% abv. Needs food.

Apr 24th, 2016Loved this! First stop at napa straight off the plane. Tropical and stone fruits, apparently they stop the malolactic conversion before it gets too buttery. Oak, vanilla. Mid acid. Cold color. Mid body pretty long
