darker brown, bigger, more powerful, caramel, not a lot of fruit, a little hot on finish, not classic,

I’m not a big Port drinker but this 1965 Krohn made me remember why I use to drink lots of Port Wines. It’s actually tastes like a young wine with all those port characteristics. It’s sweet but not to sweet, full, round, with a smooth pleasant finish.

Delicious Vintage Port. Normally don't care for ports, but tasting at the office and this was a stunner. Coffee, caramel, soft dried flowers and hazelnut, this has impressive legs and will keep for a while longer.
