Akacia Malvasia

Not necessarily bad, but this was odd. Still wrapping my head around it.

2007 vintage. This is a nice orange wine.

Almond nose, golden delicious apple, medium to full bodied orange wine, good acidity, great cut on the finish.

Light, minerally (brine) and floral — easy drinking, good with shellfish, nothing too challenging but probably about as good as you can go with this grape

One of the better producers in istria

2007. Pleasurable. One dimensional but this immovable wine is totally enjoyable from first sip to last. Doesn't require a lot of cerebral action but that's orange wine in a nutshell. The opposite of what many think of orange wine.

Orange, burnt peach, warm, red plastic, tomato stained porcelain, french cheese, stale bread with burnt molasses.
