The flattest KB I’ve experienced. While some cherry, blackberry, and dark soda notes were preset with acidity, there was a real lack of mid-palate and finish for me.

One of the better pinots I have had. Full bodied and enough fruit to have a nice aroma and a smooth finish.

Beautifully aromatic. Gorgeous raspberries, cranberries laced with Asian five spice and lively acidity. Elegant and vibrant black cherries are enticing. Dark Russian River fruit can’t get better than this.

This ought to age very well. Quite drinkable now after a little time in the decanter. Fruit is pretty mellow, with soft tannins and a pleasant finish note.

Apparently frazzled upon opening but tasted 18 hours later. A big wine plenty of cherry touch basil and orange peel good acidity and stylistically close to a Burg at least at 18h’s. Expensive. At the Meritage Encinitas.
