From the same lot a Auktionswein but younger vintage and lower level of ripeness, despite higher alcohol level (10 vs 8.5)
Colour slightly darker.
Honey melon, wax.
Med low body with light RS and juicy acidity, more of an off-dry wine. Again melon with hints of citrus on the palate. Melon aftertaste with a dried fruit and mineral finish .

Dense, aromatic, intense semi-dry Riesling of distinct characteristics
Light amber colored. Slowly rolling in the glass.
Pronounced aromas of ginger honey, camomile, apricot, paraffin film...
Dense mouthfeel of fine texture. Medium-plus body flavored with lemongrass, anise, apricot, peach, bruised apple. Clear mineral tone. Pretty sweet (no cloying) and acidic at the same time.
Fading slowly leaving honey + lemon aftertaste.
Paired fine with blue mold cheese (gorgonzola). Good as digestif as well.
