Kistler is simply not great until you give it this much time and more.
Loads of; cranberries, pomegranate, strawberries, cherries, steeped fruit tea, toast, top soil, dry rock powder, saline, bright, mid florals, excellent acidity with great; balance, tension, structure and ruby polished finish for a full minute and half.

Closest I came to Pinot tasting like a Burgundy ever - just a simple pop n pour night - this has a smooth balanced yet nice dark cherries taste - smell is nice - SMILING big!

All of the depth of red fruit that a boy could ask for! Man is the puppy showing some power and restraint. The '13 is a sturdy reminder of the prowess of RRV, and a nice showcase of richness in fruit, but reigning it all in with a welcomed landing led with structure, acidity and soft supple tannins. Yup.
