Wow! So concentrated! Medium-deep gold color, candied lemon peel and clotted cream on the nose, with flowers and dry tisane bag with slightly oxidative depth, oak present but in the background, as if Krug made a still chardonnay in Sonoma. Palate is extremely concentrated but kept in balance by the high acidity. Unapologetically California
