May 10th, 2018Maybe my first Greek wine. Medium bodied with tons of red fruit upfront, some spice notes, powerful tannins and great acidity. Tasted blind I thought it was a Grenache at first but couldn’t place it. A fun, easy drinking wine.

Nov 17th, 2017Decant for a few hours. Bouquet of ripe cherry, pie spices (cinnamon, clove), vanilla, black pepper, later stewed cherry tomatoes and summer herbs, then saffron and almond extract. Sharp tannins! Tart cherry, cranberry, vanilla, marzipan on the palate. Strong rusty brick color, medium-bodied red. Unique and interesting to try out. Good for red meats like burgers, ribeye, spiced grilled lamb or goat.
