Pretty surprised to find a 100% Cabernet Sauvignon option in the Finger Lakes. Light ruby color with an orange rim. Muted aromas and flavors of black fruit, chocolate and black pepper. Heavy oak presence on the tart/medium finish. Medium-minus body and texture. Plenty of acidity. A noble effort considering the place of origin. Sadly, this winery no longer exists.

Remarkably good for FLX Cab Sauv. Tart with plenty of fruit left, still plenty of tannin. Very subtle raspberry/vanilla nose. Black pepper, too. Sad to see this place go. Stopped on a lark, tasting room building looked like a minigolf clubhouse, but they had some great wine.
