Glad I have two more to revisit a few years hence. Excited to try the Ignis next. Bold, smooth, cherries, high alcohol but not obvious from taste or smell. — 5 years ago
A nice Xmas eve bottle, thanks PTW! Aroma pervaded the second the cork popped. Delish. Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays! — 5 years ago
Monday night bbq with friend from out of town. Went with awaze pork tenderloin and fixings. Sorry not sorry, coulda waited many years but tonight was the night. Silky, fruity, nice acid, a little raspberry, still plenty of tannin. — 5 years ago
Post group meeting celebratory pop. Has tremendous potential, glad there are two more heading to my “cellar.” Has the red fruits, cassis, a little vanilla and some oak. Not “big” but still quite good. — 5 years ago
No idea where this came from. Happy that it arrived. Acidic, red fruit, pleasant. — 5 years ago
Delicious. Jason agrees! With scallops provencale... — 5 years ago
Really nice, easy drinking, fruit forward without being too heavy. — 5 years ago
Impulse buy at Cellar D’Or; had read Fixin is emerging as a good QPR appellation. Thought I had been burned, extremely closed when I popped it. (Also young, I know.) However, not 20 min later and it sprang to life. Nose is very faint, but taste is silky, mildly acidic, some undefinable to me berry under the tannin. Definitely will want to revisit one in a few years. — 5 years ago
