I am becoming a great supporter of Kim Crawford wines. Always have their sauvignon blanc and Pinot noir in stock, cannot miss with them. Tried the 2016 Chardonnay tonight on Nov 25, 2018 with grilled chicken and teriyaki sauce. Wow! Just enough oak and fruit with touch butterscotch when chilled. Inhale while sipping and catch the flavors and aromas. Will add to the cabinet for regular meals and friends for dinner. Have been hunting and may have found one answer for really nice Chardonnay!!!!!

Golden straw color. Aromas of pear, citrus, stone fruit and a hint of butterscotch. Seems like this Chardonnay sat more in steel than oak- little to no Malolactic fermentation. Good flavor of citrus hardly any oak or butter.

Full body, earthy Chardonnay with hints of citrus and stone fruits. Paired with sweet potato, chicken sausage & mushrooms.
