Deep and dark purplish ruby red. Notes of black olives, blue fruits, a touch floral, crushed gravel and dustiness on the nose. Medium acidity (5.5/10) and medium bodied. Solid minerality on the palate with lots of black raspberries, and perfumey too. Medium plus finish. Drink till 2021.

On the nose, gummy fruits of; blackberries, blueberries, black raspberries and black plum. Green pepper and liquid violets. On the palate is M+ body & tannins. Even more new oak here. Lush, ruby fruits of; blackberries, blueberries, black raspberries, black plum. Black, rich soils, dry loamy too soils, crushed rocks, lightly spices, pepper, black tea, leather, underbrush, well rounded acidity and a lush polished finish.

Partly whole cluster dark plum and cherry fruit and a bit of animal savage note. A savory Syrah with bright plum fruit silky smooth tannin and a bright fresh finish. Excellent

2012 Vintage. 13.9% Alcohol. 53% Va Piano Vineyard, Bock 6, 45% Blue Mountain Vineyard, Block 8, 2% Viognier, Les Collins’s Vineyard. A #garagiste wine. Lovely fruit and nice touch of the Viognier perfume.

Always a nice Syrah from Kerloo. Still had some pepper to it. Could hold this longer. Held up to the BBQ we had with it. Nice wine.
