Another list that I've dropped off. Quality is great, and I always considered this wine to be their best. I like its un-tamed, sort of wild character. This was my last, but it still has upside potential. 92+

Color - red tawny with some definite bricking. Nose—smoked stewed meat, cherry and florals with minerals and subtle vanilla scents lingering. Taste— cherry-raspberry tart, minerals and tar, but with hints of sweet vanilla and chocolate. A smokey-tobacco medium wet finish. Good to drink now and will hold it’s own in a few years.

1/2 hour decant (little cloudy sediment). A formidable dark tawny red color with decent bricking. On the nose: subtle nose of stewed meat, iron, cherry, smoke, and herbs. Taste: A creamy, smooth medium plus body wine with mouth coating raspberry, minerals, tar, leather, little chocolate, and a smokey tobacco medium plus finish. Drink em now or over the next few years. Cheers!

Red fruit leaps out on the nose. Decant as usual. Good drinking window in 2020.
