Very accessible right now. Didn't even get a decant but was very open. Dark core of fruit and some bright red fruit from the Grenache most likely. Tannins are pretty soft especially compared to other keplingers I've had from this vintage this year.

The main problem was that we opened it far too soon! A remarkable wine, beautifully light and deep at the same time. A lesson in not judging by alcohol % - you would never know it was 14.8.

"All smiles" to quote @Mike R ... my purple teeth are shining through. This wine is dark with an explosive nose and palate. Anise and blackberry jump out the most to me. Fruit forward with an extremely dry finish. The tannins are very present but also so well integrated that this is drinking great right out of the gate. It also has the structure for a long sleep. I love Helen's new world take on a typical Rhone varietal.
