The first Vintner's Reserve Chardonnay was released in 1983. Light golden yellow color. Some oak and stone fruit aromas. Peach and tropical fruits on the palate with vanilla and some buttery oak on the finish. Good value for a wine to entertain a crowd that won't break the bank. Consistent quality. Tasting Sample.

Like gnawing on oak chips. I took a chance at the local Publix in Naples and it didn’t pay off. It tastes just like you think supermarket Chardonnay would taste: cheap and mass-produced.

Lots of oak, feels a bit heavy. Just okay, but no histamine reaction! Respect! But I liked Bogle better.
