Ken Wright Cellars
Tanager Vineyard Pinot Noir

Still pretty sharp and angular, but showing some lovely nuance. Wild mushroom and firm structure. Falls apart a bit because of its youth. Slightest bit of bitter espresso. Sweeter cherry prevalent on the palate with food.

Disappointing for the price point + 8 years in the cellar. It was fine - red fruit, honey, a little black pepper - but muted and monolithic.

Ripe red with some blue fruit. Red flowers. Good lingering finish. Somewhat candied ripe. Well balanced. 36th birthday wine.
