Dark color, starting to go garnet. Cherry pie crust, wild herbs, mushroom and pork fat on the nose. Rose petal, baking spice, muted strawberry on the palate. Rich, silken, long. Very pretty

Tasty, but had a hard time getting a read on this. Certainly a nice glass of wine though.

Full-bodied pinot, but with some nice earth notes and a good interesting funk. A hint of acidity left but 15 years is probably the max for this wine and vineyard. Not my style though, a bit too heavy-handed, even taking into account the age. 2004 vintage had on June 1, 2019

Upon open aromas of smoke and blackberry. After about 3 hours in the decanter, The wine had morphed into bright cherry and a bit of leather. 24 hours later, still a bit of smoke, but has calmed into cherry and spice. Super smooth and lush. Really nice
