Medium bodied with medium plus acidity.
Not my style but very enjoyable.
Had it double blind, and called it right,missing the vintage by one year 😊

The Red Barn Blocks displayed a bouquet of mineral-infused cherry, with herbal hints of mint and sage, black pepper, and dusty dried flowers. On the palate, I found soft, caressing textures-much lighter than velvet, yet just as soft-with ripe black cherry, raspberry, plum, hints of subtle spice and brisk, energizing acidity. It finished fresh, floral and almost mouthwatering with lingering ripe red fruits. This is so pure and a completely honest wine with tons of character.

Elegant, delicately ripe #dundeehills #pinotnoir from a quality boutique producer. Nose leans a bit fruitier than savory, lovely cherry, raspberry, some tea notes. Juicy acidity in the mouth, medium light body. This wine continued to evolve after uncorking in wine fridge over a day.

May 12th, 2023Initially closed and not expressive, this took over an hour of air to really open up and get going, so I would highly recommend decanting. Once it opened, beautiful wild strawberry fruit, translucent pale ruby, fine-boned 🔥
