Way too young but so elegant and balanced. Kelley Fox is making some of the best pinot in Oregon

Kelley makes wines that age well and are very Burgundian in style. A winner.

Seemed an appropriate Christmas wine. Can’t rave enough about Kf wines. QPR is a little whack but it delivers. Way too young to open but ran it through the Venturi a few times and it showed really pretty red fruit, elegant wine. Hold for several years before trying again.

2 hr decant. Gorgeous looking wine. Bright clean fruit. Rocks. Light spice. Elegant. 12.5%. Good structure for years to come, really a crime to be drinking this now but it’s excellent. It’s spendy at $85 at the winery, but I think with cellaring it’s prob worth it.

Dark cherry and a dash of herbs, with a savory middle and finish, excellent concentration, and terrific with a duck breast with a beet sauce.
