Kiwi, Apple, and almond tree blossoms on the nose. Tons of fruit cocktail essence on the palate. Finish is a little bitter.

May 2nd, 2016I have to admit that I am always a little vexed by Italian Chardonnays because the varietal is so much more closely associated with other locales ( Burgundy, Napa, etc.), but, in all honesty, I would have a hard time thinking of another Chardonnay at this price point ($14) that I enjoy more than this. Ultra dry and pleasingly piquant with tropical fruits. Nice complexity and balance, and it is a true bargain. If you are not a fan of oak (this has none), then this might be right up your alley. Completely worth a try and an honest pleasure.
