Oaky. Not terribly over-extracted. Fine, but not my jam. Pun intended.

Excellent Zin with tons of deep berry flavors. Went well with spicy pasta and veggies.

Enjoyable Zin and was even better after a long decant. Give it two hours if you can.

A Last Bottle Wine we got about a year ago, when first tasting upon receipt it had a heavy tannic overhang and the fruit was very restrained. 2/9/17 tasting while in the midst of winter storm Nikos power outage, with some lentil soup, the fruit was there and the wine showed it supple plushness... the Dry Creek fruit was deep and intense and the acid structure had backed off. A great find!
