This blend is jammy, full of rich strawberry flavors leading into a lingering, slightly bitter finish.

Good solid blue and red fruits like blueberry and raspberry. Soft, easy tannins that could be a little more formed but overall not bad.

Overall good wine. It grew on me each night until I decided the third night was the best, it needs time to breathe for sure. As described the tannins are extremely soft, too soft for me.

Had this with a starter or hot rolls and baked Camembert. Roast beef, garlic cream cheese potatoes, crispy fried leeks and savoy cabbage with lemon rind and pine nuts.

A delicious wine and thoroughly recommended. You just gotta love that Katie!
