Surprisingly balanced and gulpable given the price point and label.

Bruno by Karthäuserhof
New wine by new winemaker (Mathieu Kaufmann from Bollinger & von Buhl).
Bone dry yet unmistakably Mosel - light, mineral, with very light apples & peaches & lemon peel.
Crystal clear on the palate, poised & balancing the juicy acidity with just the right pinch of sweetness and with the unmistakable slate minerality. Begs for another sip. Delicious, mouthwatering stuff!
Can’t wait for his new Lagenweine!

Definitely has the diesel and exhaust notes that a lot of his wines do. Sweet, not too crisp, clean flavors of cold stone fruits, nothing too chewy or waxy. Definitely went well with garlic and caper blackfin tuna.
